Hammond, IN February 27, 2020 Dr. Sandy Goldberg Co-Founder and CEO of A Silver Lining Foundation stops by Studio A for a visit. Sandy gives us an update on some of the programs at ASLF from ‘Buy a Mom a Monogram’ to their educational programs.

The excitement is palpable this time of year as we head into ‘Glitz and Glamour’ time of year. ‘Glitz and Glamour’ is a fashion show developed and organized by Mark Roscoe, attorney/fashion designer.

Chicago’s premier fashion event benefitting A Silver Lining Foundation. The Glitz & Glamour luncheon and fashion show is held at the beautiful Peninsula Hotel on March 4, 2020. Joining emcee WGN News Anchor, Micah Materre, are special guest appearances by Candace Jordan (Chicago Tribune columnist and media personality); Tracy Butler (ABC 7 News Meteorologist); Maria Castro (Regional External Affairs Manager for Comcast); Susanna Homan (Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Chicago Magazine); Roz Varon (ABC7 News Traffic and Transportation Anchor); LeeAnn Trotter (NBC 5 Entertainment Reporter); Zoraida Sambolin (NBC 5 News Anchor); Caylei Vogelzang (Editor-in-Chief of Cancer Wellness Magazine); Whitney Reynolds (Host of the Whitney Reynolds Show). The Fashion Show will include incredible designs by A. Marek Fine Jewelry, Mark Roscoe, Julie Mersine/Mira Couture, Elda De La Rosa, Ann Everette Designs, Ricorso, Sylwia Designs, Tamra Ellingson, and Contessa Bottega. Entertainment will include a special performance by world renown concert pianist, Ani Gogova, and an incomparable vocal performance by Chicago’s very own, Opal Staples.
