The Week of Fun People Continues as Mary LeVan Stops by ‘Studio A’ Some Laughs – Food Bank of NWI Slam Dunk Hunger – Learn More About Habitat for Humanity at Lake County Library
Mary LeVan, born and raised in Hammond IN stops by to share her schedule that would be taxing for most 40 somethings. As always, Mary’s spirit that she is known and loved for shines brightly in Studio A. From Zumba class to walking 5 miles a day, to attending open mics at Paul Henry’s and One Best Life at Tinker’s Attic weekly, Mary is just warming up. She makes sure she attends most local plays, concerts and she attends all the Senior Dances at the Jean Shepherd Center. At 91 damn years old, there is nothing that can stop Mary. Yet she repeatedly uses the words, “thank you”. She continuously expresses her gratitude for her friends, the many activities that she is blessed with, plus good health.
Mary Levan is such a sweet soul. We consider ourselves fortunate to call Mary our dearest friend.
