A strong front will move across the area this evening and bring with it a quick dusting of snow. Most locations will see amounts less than 0.10 inches. Temperatures bottom out tonight with wind chills ranging from 0 to -15 by Wednesday morning. Then we begin to warm up as we head into the weekend with values into the 40s by Saturday and Sunday.Milwaukee Live Radar
Chicago
A brief period of cold weather is expected tonight and Wednesday. Thereafter, a significant warming trend is expected. Temperatures are expected to trend well above normal this weekend through Christmas.Chicago Radar
Indianapolis
Some lingering snow showers early this morning, but expect most of the precipitation to end around sunrise. Skies will remain mostly cloudy, but have a few breaks in cloud cover this afternoon. A very weak system overhead could develop some flurries and more clouds, otherwise high pressure will dominate the next several days with slowly moderating temperatures. By the weekend most of the snowpack will have melted with highs approaching the middle to upper 40s.Indianapolis Radar

Snow showers will taper off from west to east later this morning, with minor accumulations expected mainly along and south of US 24. Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with highs in the low 30s. Lake effect snow showers are possible tonight near Lake Michigan. Much colder air will move in tonight and linger through Thursday morning. Low temperatures tonight will fall into the teens and low 20s, coldest inland. Highs on Wednesday will only reach into the low 20s, but with breezy northwest winds it will feel colder. Lows Wednesday night will range from 7 to 21 degrees. Wind chills from Tonight into Thursday morning will be in the single digits above zero at times, so dress appropriately if heading outdoors. Temperatures will rebound Thursday into the weekend.Michiana Radar
