Some light to occasionally moderate lake effect snow is expected this morning. Expect pockets of pockets of varying and reduced visibilities in any more moderate snowfall early this morning. Temperatures will remain above freezing, but be cautious with any reduced visibilities or on wet roadways.Strong and gusty north to northwest winds will once again build waves across parts of the Illinois and especially Indiana shoreline this evening and overnight. A Lakeshore Flood Warning is in effect for Cook, Lake (IN), and Porter Counties, while a Lakeshore Flood Advisory is in effect for Lake County Illinois. Be alert for rising water and avoid flood prone areas along the lakeshore tonight!After lingering snow departs the region this morning, dry and seasonable conditions are expected to prevail this week, although periods of increased cloud cover are expected, especially on Tuesday morning and afternoon.Chicago Radar

This will also result in flooding of immediate lakeshore area. Tonight waves will be on the decline and are expected to drop into the 2 to 4 feet range just after midnight.Michiana Radar
