Recently Jay was awarded the National Chaplin of the Year, that recognized his tireless efforts to create and foster programs in The Porter County Jail to address two of Porter County’s most persistent and prevailing problems, substance abuse and domestic violence. We visit with Jay to discuss his career and the programs he has instituted within the jail.

We have always looked at Jay as one of the warriors in Porter County that have helped fight the growing substance abuse war in Porter County. We are honored to have him as a guest on our show.
