Nice sprinkle we had last night! Most of the fireworks were rained out. It many areas we received 1-2″ in one hour. Nasty mess. That prediction went from a 20% of precipitation to 100% real quick. Many of you have water in your basements. This one was kinda unusual. The rain came down at such a fast rate that most drain tiles were rendered useless. Basically the rain came down faster than the ground could absorb so those of you who have flaws or cracks in your foundations, does not take much, got water.

A bit of a “nasty wicket” as they say in the UK. Ha! That rymed. ThursdayJuly5Graphic
