Weather Update for Tuesday June 5, 2018.
As the low pressure accompanied by cool air takes a dip into the Chicago area we will notice a drop in temperatures. We will see a high of 69 around late morning then bamb just like that the bottom will fall out and we will be dipping down to 59-60. There will be a 30% chance of precipitation throughout the day most likely though before 11 am. So bring a windbreaker type jacket and one of those fold up little umbrellas. You will def need the jacket. Or you could just do one of those $6 disposable ponchos. Those are always are a good look.
Tomorrow that low front moves on up out of here. Sun will return in her full power and glory with temperatures ticking up to the high 60s near the lake and mid to high 70s inland.
Thursday a low pressure area encroaches the area again bringing a slight chance of rain. We should see a high of 81 near the lake and 87 inland as the air heats back up.
Enjoy the night time cool temps. It’s sleep with the windows open type of weather…unless that next door neighbor or yours forgets to wear his sleep apnea mask and you can hear his snoring a block away.
