SaturdayJune2

Now that was a cooler than expected day yesterday! Took us by surprise. When the people who do the weather misdress you know something is up. Yea those shorts were a little less than needed. Temps dipped lower due to some cooler air arriving early like your Aunt Vivian.

Today the temperatures will moderate under partly sunny skies. A bit warmer than yesterday, 68 near the lake and 78 inland. Late Saturday night and early Sunday morning some showers will arrive with thunderstorms. We do have an elevated lightning risk during the early morning hours. So if you’re standing outside or in the middle of the field with a bottle of beer in your hand, don’t do that. You can drink as much beer as you would like if your aren’t driving, but keep an eye on the sky. You don’t want to be lit up like Vegas.

Sunday things will start to clear up after 7:00 am. We will have highs in the lower 70s near the lake and upper 70s inland. Be cautious if you opt to swim. 1. Water will be cold, so you can always blame the condition of things on cold water much like George Costanza blamed it on the pool 2. There will be a slight undertow near the beach areas, so please be cautious if you opt to swim. Other than that, Sunday should shape up to be a clear day with moderate temps. So enjoy.

Looks like our moderate temps under clear skies should hold into the start of the week.

Have a good one folks! Smile when you can, just not too much because people will think there is something wrong with you. Well there is but keep it under wraps for now.
