Weather Update for Friday June 1, 2018.
Cooler weather conditions are in store through the weekend, especially near Lake Michigan. A lake enhanced front will result in brisk northerly winds over and near Lake Michigan today, with high waves and dangerous swim conditions at Lake Michigan beaches. It will still be seasonably warm well inland on Friday and Saturday, but then a another cold frontal passage Saturday night will knock inland highs down to the 70s on Sunday. Thunderstorms are possible Saturday evening and overnight with the frontal passage.
A windy day is in store for Lake Michigan today. Dangerous swim conditions can be expected at the beaches due to life threatening waves and currents. Adhere to beach closure information.
