National Weather Service

MondayApril23

Monday will be another mild day inland, though spotty rain showers are possible later in the afternoon into the evening mainly south of I-80 in eastern Illinois and northwest Indiana. Tuesday will feature partly to mostly cloudy skies, with again a small chance for spotty showers in primarily northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana. A lake breeze will keep areas near Lake Michigan cooler both Monday and Tuesday.

The week ahead looks slightly cooler. But all in all clear skies after the Tuesday rain thing. Not a bad week with seasonal temperatures. So enjoy but don’t put that jacket away yet.
