National Weather Service

MondayApril2

With the exception of light snow far south into this evening, dry weather is expected across the area through Monday. A strong low pressure system will then bring widespread rain and a chance for thunderstorms Monday night through Tuesday. Some of the thunderstorms could be strong south late Monday night into Tuesday.

This week will be an example to us all on how winter can keep it’s ugly head around into the borning days of spring. So don’t go running to your nurseries for spring flowers and plants yet.  We will experience freezing cold temperatures into next week. We will go through a sunny and then crappy cycle, but be assured the temperatures will not improve. So don’t break out that summer wear just yet. Then some of us wear Bermuda shorts year round…so figure that.
