Weather Update for Wednesday March 28, 2018
Weak high pressure will settle across the area Wednesday, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures again in the mid to upper 50’s in most areas, though a lake breeze will keep areas near Lake Michigan cooler. Another wave of rainfall is expected across northern Illinois and northwest Indiana on Thursday. Unfortunately, a rather unsettled weather pattern will hold over our area as we move through the end of the work week and into the weekend.
Yeah so not exactly a clear blue sky day like we had last week. Those days were amazing. But the temperatures will be comfortable. I believe some call this windbreaker day. For you youngins who may be laughing it up, windbreaker is not what you think. A windbreaker is a very thin light jacket that was designed to keep the the wind from the skin. Designed for 50/60s weather where an all out jacket maybe too warm. Although I do not want to take anything away from those who believe that windbreaker is something all completely different….. the week can be summed up in this fashion, Today OK, Thursday Rain, Friday NICE, Saturday & Sunday, Sucky.
So there you have it. Have a wonderful day. It’s going to be absolutely and remarkably …..OK. Now go back to viewing those pictures from those summabitches that are in a warmer climate for spring break filling your news feed with pictures of beachers, remarkable sunsets and people in their swimsuits. If it helps, try to picture your uncle Walter with a cigar hanging out of his mouth as he rocks out in a US flag swimsuit holding a can of Budweiser with the subtitle ‘MERICA’. That may put at ease some of the envy. We know seeing Uncle Walter without a shirt could have a long lasting affect on you. So be careful with that.
