Weekend Weather Update for Saturday, March 17, 2018

National Weather Service

The precipitation will end during the morning hours on Saturday as high pressure approaches and the weather will remain dry the rest of the weekend. Highs will be in the low 50s on Sunday cooling into the upper 30s to low 40s by Tuesday.
So this weekend is going to shape up to be nice and sunny. A bit on the cold side but sunny. As I warned in a previous report, enjoy because next week will be not so much. It will be cooler with a chance of rain on Monday night leading into Tuesday. But our temperatures will go down a notch.
So enjoy this weekend as you drink your green beer and eat massive quantities of corn beef and cabbage (which is not an authentic Irish dish by the way) and true first generation Irish never put food coloring in their beer. They are like “what the fook” on both counts. Regardless go out and have a good time regardless if your name is Ryan or Kowalski. It’s a time in which we all can come together and celebrate the true Irish way of life! Cheers!
Note to my loyal readers.
A friend approached me and she was like “We’re going to have some freezing rain and wintery mix tonight”. I was like “Seriously? I wonder how they determined that?” She was like “I saw it on the weather report” I was like “Wow they must really know their stuff” She was like “They are always right” I was like “They must. Do you ever read my weather reports?” The sound of crickets filled the room. As much as I want to go all Michael Douglas in “Falling Down” I just smiled and accept the fact that people do not read my weather reports and social commentary.
Well with one exception. I just received a comment on one of my weather reports. The first comment ever. This person went on to say how accurate the reports are and how they helped them personally. I was totally humbled.
I infuse comedic social commentary in my reports to add levity. I never dreamed they would be of help. To this person I offer a sincere Thank you!  Furthermore this person has just made it worth my effort to get up every morning, interpret the National Weather Service data and transform it into something that you all can easily read and use. You will notice I use the National Weather Service graphs and credit the accordingly. Their graphic artists are phenomenal. However, being scientists, they don’t always relay the data in such a format that is easily understandable by the general public. That is where I thought I could help. I do have a good understanding on how the general public interprets data. So that all I have to say about that!
So Cheers for Now….Have a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day.
