Weekend Weather Update for Saturday, March 10, 2018
Plan on cool weather for early to mid-March, with mostly dry conditions through early next week. An upper-level disturbance passing southwest of the area Saturday night into Sunday may result in some light snow for locations mainly west of I-39. Scattered lake effect snow showers will also be possible for northwest Indiana on Tuesday. Otherwise, plan on dry conditions under partly to mostly cloudy skies.
If you are not a cold temperature wimp, put your phone down, push your keyboard away, turn the TV off and get you up and out of there and enjoy the sun. Sunday some areas may see a bit of snow. Come next Tuesday chances are greater that we all are going to seeing snow….so go hike at the Dunes. Jump a train to Chicago. What ever outdoor activity you do, do it. The sun is going to fill the sky.
Have a great weekend folks!

High pressure area over the the easter part of the midwest. Travel in the area should be quite enjoyable. Cool but sunny. Look for that to change towards the mid part of next week.
The southeast will have a high probability of severe thunderstorms. Most of the west coast down into Arizona and New Mexico will have a chance of seeing rain. The northeast will still be plagued with some snowfall as they struggle to overcome the affects of the Northeaster that hit that area.
