National Weather Service

SaturdayFeb24
A light wintry mix is expected for portions of the area Saturday, but this will become all rain by the afternoon. Rainfall totals on Saturday will range less than a quarter of an inch north of I-80, to around a quarter of an inch south of I-80. Rain continues Saturday night before clearing Sunday. Winds will also increase Saturday night and continue to be breezy on Sunday.
So if you whiners can survive today, I’m telling you this is going to be a nice week. For the most part clear skies and temperatures in the 50s. Not exactly beach weather for most of you, but then again…. The only warnings hanging around are the flood warnings. You can see a map showing where they exist. Until this ground thaws and we have warmer temperatures, there is simply no place for this stuff to go. So hang in there cupcake. But word of warning, when some of this water does recede, look for water damage to roads and bridges that will need attention.
