Weekend Weather Update for Saturday December 23, 2017 – Snow Highly Possible Sunday
Confidence has increased regarding the a period of snow during the day Sunday (Christmas Eve), especially for southern parts of the shown map. Like some of you are confident that we are never confident in what we report. Well guess again cupcake. That said, there is still high uncertainty on location and amounts with this system and some future shifts in forecast snowfall are probable. Snow will very likely end by sunset on Sunday. Travel impacts on Sunday with this system are possible, at the least some slowed travel is probable where the higher snowfall amounts do occur. Because it’s always like the first snows, you people drive like you never saw snow. Or some of you drive as if you were on a snowmobile. Hence the reason insurance companies are so busy. So take that and do with as you see fit be it driving with your nose 1/2″ from the wheel as you exit the Banta Senior Center or as if you are about to go into one of the s-curve turns in Daytona at 200 mph. Happy Holiday regardless of your situation!
