Tuesday, September 19 at 5:00 pm we will be airing our first episode of “The Walk“. Our steering committee and several other supporters will be in the studio to talk about how The Walk came to be and our plans for future episodes. Please tune into WVLP-LP 103.1 or stream live at wvlp.org or find us on your TuneIn app.
The Walk is a life story being narrated by a guest host that has struggled through addiction and found a life changed through recovery. The goal is to provide a beacon of hope for those who are struggling with addiction as well as provide helpful information on resources available in their community.
The Walk is not just a one time show. We will have other guest hosts sharing their story in the same format as our first episode. In addition, there will be shows that highlight other resources related to recovery and funding. We will also produce shows highlighting “recovery music”, music that is meaningful to those who are and have gone through recovery. Please stay tuned.
